组织培养技术在病毒学的领域内已有广泛应用。这种技术的成败,取决于组织的选择、营养的要求和各种其他外界因素的影响。近年来发现组织培养的鸡胚细胞可用于Rous氏肉瘤、西方马脑炎、流行性乙型脑炎、新城鸡瘟、腮腺炎、流行性感冒、疱疹、牛痘、兔痘和鼠痘等30种病毒的分离与鑑定。由于鸡胚细胞易于取得、操作简便、生长甚为迅速,故有多采用者,唯用普通的营养液维持期限短促,对某些生长缓慢的病毒在未出现致细胞病变前就产生非特异性脱落,因而不易判定病毒生长繁殖的指标。为了寻求延长对鸡胚细胞的维持期限,我们使用Rappaport氏培养液进行了比较研究。
