Acute renal failure (ARF) is one of the critical diseases in all families. In severe cases, often without effective treatment can often be life-threatening. Now, 41 cases of acute renal failure treated in our department of nephrology for nearly 2 years are analyzed as follows. 1 Clinical data 1.1 General Information: a total of 41 cases, 27 males and 14 females. Age 21 ~ 75 years old, average 41.26 years old. Etiology: septic shock in 7 cases, acute gastroenteritis in 7 cases, epidemic hemorrhagic fever in 5 cases, obstructive nephropathy in 4 cases, hypertensive crisis in 1 case, gentamicin-induced renal injury in 4 cases, penicillin
