This cover is taken from the work by the Flemish painter Jan van Eyck (c. 1390-1441) entitled “The Arnolfini Portrait.” The painting was completed in 1434 and is now housed in the National Gallery of England. Figure 1 shows the panorama of the picture. The painting is known as the Italian silk and carpet merchant Giovanni di Nicolao Arnolfini (c.1400-1452) living in Brugge and his wife. Two people dressed gorgeous, solemn look, the man’s left hand holding the woman’s right hand, the woman’s other hand gently press the slightly bulged abdomen above, it seems already pregnant, green with pleated mop skirt is said to be Symbol of many children.
