The leaf specimens were collected from different stages of plant growth and were pressed at different parts of the plant. Processed. It has the advantages of large amount of storage, convenient use, and long-term storage. What’s more important is that the rare plants that grow on mountains, forests, and cliffs are pressed and stored as specimens for the teaching of biology, pharmacology, and Chinese herbal medicine in the motherland. Scientific research provides good information. However, over the years, it has been fixed and consumed in large quantities. In the early 1950s and early 1960s, it was fixed by needles or staples. In the early 1960s and early 1970s, imported medical gum arabic was used to glue and then fixed by needles. In the 1970s, latex was used for cementation: after years of exploration, improvement, etc. We believe that the use of latex is better than imported gum arabic. First, the use of imported gum arabic: Advantages: transparency, easy to use. Disadvantages: 1, adhesion is not strong, easy to fall off 2, needle seams affect the appearance of many specimens and work efficiency is slow. 3. Every year, the country’s foreign exchange is used to purchase gum arabic, which is expensive and difficult to buy. Second, the use of latex is better than Arab gum is
