XF716铣床数控技术改造项目获1996年湖北省机械工业厅科技进步三等奖.本文讨论其中的机械设计方面的有关问题.它对系统的精度和性能起着重要的作用,但往往被人们所忽视.本项目机械设计摆脱了传统的经验设计法,而是在控制工程理论指导下,从满足系统动、静态特性的要求出发,综合考虑各方面的因素,使机械传动系统、计算机控制系统和可编程控制器得以协调的工作.
