Head and neck cancer is one of the most common tumors in the world. About 600,000 new cases occur each year worldwide, and about 90% are head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) ~ [1]. Chemotherapy combined with surgery and radiotherapy is the standard treatment for HNSCC.
