2002年开始实施的中国电影产业化改革,使这个曾经创造出200多亿观众人次的亚洲电影大国再度崛起,逐步成为亚洲乃至世界最具活力的电影生产大国之一。国内影院票房也从当年的区区10亿左右,增长到2008年的43亿,连续8年,中国电影市场的票房冠军均为国产影片,国产影片市场份额突破60%,彻底改变了好莱坞电影连续多年占据票房榜首的历史局面。于是,中国电影如何进一步走向海外,在国际市场上提升竞争力和影响力,成了业界关心的话题。
