台湾女作家丛甦的短篇小说《盲猎》在上世纪60年代,以鲜明的现代主义文学艺术特征而独树一帜。小说以“梦魇”的艺术手法象征人类存在的困境,以人物支离破碎的感觉去置换传统的完整故事结构,采用非理性“呓语式”的模糊叙述,题旨指向存在主义的哲学命题。《盲猎》是台湾现代小说创作的第一个成功的尝试,具有海外华文短篇小说历史性的经典意义。
Taiwanese writer Cong Su’s short story “Hunting” was unique in the 1960s with the distinctive features of modernist literature and art. The novel symbolizes the dilemma of human being’s existence in the art of “nightmare”, replaces the traditional complete story structure with the fragmentary feeling of characters, and adopts the irrational “呓 language” ambiguous narration. The theme points to the philosophical proposition of existentialism. “Blind Hunting” is the first successful attempt in the creation of Taiwan’s modern novels with the historic classic significance of overseas Chinese short stories.
