编者按自1984年6月设立上海、大连、天津等6家海事法院以来,我国的海事审判工作在专业化发展道路上已经走过了整整三十年。为了加强对全国海事审判工作的指导和监督,最高人民法院于1987年3月设立了交通运输审判庭,该审判庭后于2000年被调整为民事审判第四庭。最高人民法院民四庭在海事审判体制、海事审判制度和海事案件审理的规范化、精品化建设等诸多方面做了大量卓有成效的工作,为中国海事审判初步确立在亚太地区海事司法中心的
Editor’s Note Since the establishment of six maritime courts in Shanghai, Dalian and Tianjin in June 1984, China’s maritime trial work has gone through a full three decades on the road of specialization. In order to strengthen the guidance and supervision of the nationwide maritime trial work, the Supreme People’s Court set up the Transport Tribunal in March 1987, which was later adjusted into the fourth court of civil trial in 2000. The Supreme People’s Court, Court of the People’s Court has done a great deal of fruitful work in many aspects such as the system of maritime trial, the system of maritime trial and the standardization and fine construction of maritime cases, and has provided a great deal of fruitful work for the establishment of China’s maritime trial at the maritime judicial center of the Asia Pacific region
