贵刊今年第二期43页刊登彭晓东文章“注意中药品名个别字的读音”(下称“彭文”)。文章指出,个别中药品名念错时有发生,应予注意。12年前贵刊也刊载过石新文撰写的内容类似的文章(1982年第1期56页)。可见读错中草药名是由来已久的问题,至今仍未克服。读错药名轻则造成学术交流上的混乱及误会,重则造成经济、医疗上的损失。然而要正确读中草药名并非轻而易举,就拿“彭文”中注“黄柏”中的“柏”应读“bò薄”来说吧,就很必要商榷(见下文)。那么,如何才能正确地读中草药名呢?我们在教学中有些粗浅体会,简述如下,供参考。
You published Peng Xiaodong’s article “Attention to the pronunciation of individual Chinese medicine names” on page 43 of the second issue of this year (hereinafter referred to as “Peng Wen”). The article pointed out that the names of individual Chinese medicines should be read out from time to time and should be noted. Twelve years ago your magazine also published articles similar to those written by Shi Xinwen (1st 1982, p. 56). It can be seen that the problem of misreading Chinese herbal medicine is a long-standing problem that has not yet been overcome. The misreading of drug names can cause confusion and misunderstandings in academic exchanges, and it can cause economic and medical losses. However, if you want to read the names of Chinese herbal medicines correctly, it is not easy. Take the case of “Bai” in the “Huang Bo” note in “Peng Wen” and read it “Bò ò”. It is necessary to discuss it (see below). So, how can we correctly read the name of Chinese herbal medicine? We have some superficial experience in teaching, briefly described below, for reference.
