随着现代高科技日新月异的发展,适应广大群众开眼界、提高现代科技认识水平的需要,适应广大顾客购买高新技术产品振兴现代经济以及广大参展商开拓市场的需要、各种各样高科技展览会如雨后春笋大量涌现,一年中间仅北京地区就有100多个展览会。个别办展览单位认为只要新鲜,又有市场需求,能获得有关主管批准,办展览会既容易又有丰厚利润回报,何乐而不为?! 在这种思想指导下办起来的展览会在要求日益提高的参展商、参观者的心目中逐渐失去权威,失去吸引力,甚至有些“劳民伤财”“得不偿失”的后悔之感。问题之一是展览会的“主题”不突出,参展商与参观者只是到一起互相认识,参观者似乎在“逛庙会”“瞧热闹”“乱哄哄,人挤人,领奖品”,变着手法使展台前人山人海好热闹。
