Objective To explore the influence of occupational lead exposure on male semen quality. Methods A total of 163 male workers with occupational lead exposure were selected as the exposure group and divided into group A (length of service less than 10 years) and group B (length of service> 10 years) according to their working years. The control group was 150 non-occupational lead exposure Healthy normal male. The SQA-V sperm quality analysis system was used to compare and analyze the main parameters of the above semen samples, and the sperm morphology was evaluated by the modified Papanicolaou staining. Results Compared with control group, the sperm density, live rate, forward movement rate and normal sperm morphological rate in the contact group were significantly different from those in the control group (P <0.05) There was a significant difference between patients and control group (P <0.01). Conclusion Occupational exposure to lead has certain influence on male semen quality. Long-term exposure may cause male reproductive toxicity and lead to male infertility.
