确定未来强震地点的问题,已有许多学者进行过研究。对世界上一些地震活动区来说,在格尔丰特(?)和凯利斯-鲍罗克(?)指导下于1969—1974年完成的几篇论文中,已采用识别法根据统一综合的地质地貌资料解决了这个问题,其成果就是这些文章中所发表的未来强震的可能地点分布图。本文的目的就是通报从上述文章发表 The problem of determining the location of future strong earthquakes has been studied by many scholars.
