The structure of LaBa2FeCu2Oy is a cubic phase with a lattice constant of about 10 Å. Electron diffraction shows that this compound has a non-uniform modulation structure. Modulation wave vector q1 = 0.367a *, q2 = 0.367b *, and speculation q3 = 0.367c * , resistance test showed that the compound is a semiconductor.
