By analyzing the results of gel electrophoresis, we found that the zona pellucida of zona pellucida mainly consists of ZP-1, ZP-2 and ZP-3 (in order of molecular weight), while the oviduct zona pellucida contains one of these three glycoproteins ZP-1 molecules than the larger electrophoresis zone, named ZP-0. The following is the author of some of ZP-0 test results. 1. The difference between zona pellucida (ZPOVA) and zona pellucida (ZP-OVI) was detected by lectin (BS-1). The authors used fluorescently labeled ZP-OVA and ZP-OVI as well as a lectin that specifically recognizes and binds to non-reducing ends of alpha-D-galactose or alpha-N-acetyl-D-galactosamine -1), the binding fluorescence of ZP-OVA to FITC-BS-1 was not observed under a fluorescence microscope, whereas the strong fluorescence of FITC-BS-1 binding to ZP-OVI was observed.
