今年可以称得上是歌舞年,在本世纪即告结束的这段时间里,舞蹈显得尤其活跃。仅就广东舞蹈而言,目前已有深圳、广州两台大型舞剧进京演出,其它还有一批正在创作着的舞剧、舞蹈节目。舞蹈是自信的,它占领着极其广泛的艺术市场和艺术空间,但是由于电视的介入和歌伴舞的泛滥,又令舞蹈创作者无奈和担忧。舞蹈如何面向市场,是迎合观众还是培养观众,以及早些时候陈翘同志在全国政协会议上的一份提案所涉及的有关问题,至今还被人们关注着。为了共同寻求广东舞蹈发展之路,《广东艺术》编辑部召开了座谈会,请来广东舞蹈界的一些专家和创作人员,就广东舞蹈的创作和发展的一些问题各抒己见。

In order to jointly seek the development of the dance in Guangdong, the editorial department of “Guangdong Art” held a symposium, invited some experts and creative personnel from the dance industry in Guangdong to express their opinions on some issues in the creation and development of the Guangdong dance.
