采用连续激光二极管端面抽运的全固态激光器结构,实验研究了新型电光晶体磷酸钛氧铷(RTP)作为Q开关时的电光调Q特性。在重复频率30 kHz,抽运功率24 W时,得到了最大平均输出功率6.7 W,相应脉冲宽度7.8 ns,峰值功率28.6 kW的稳定脉冲序列输出,脉冲能量不稳定度小于5%,斜率效率为34.9%。与同样条件下硅酸镓镧(LGS)电光Q开关的特性进行了比较,发现RTP电光Q开关输出指标优于LGS电光Q开关,并且RTP电光晶体的驱动电压明显低于LGS电光晶体,降低了系统功耗,具备作为三维扫描成像激光雷达发射光源的潜力。
An all-solid-state laser structure with continuous laser diode end-pumped was used to investigate the electro-optic Q-switching characteristics of a novel electro-optic crystal titanimidium phosphate (RTP) as a Q-switch. At the repetition rate of 30 kHz and the pumping power of 24 W, a stable pulse sequence with the maximum average output power of 6.7 W, the corresponding pulse width of 7.8 ns and the peak power of 28.6 kW was obtained. The pulse energy instability was less than 5% and the slope efficiency was 34.9%. The results show that the output of RTP electro-optical Q-switch is better than that of LGS electro-optic Q-switch, and the driving voltage of RTP electro-optic crystal is obviously lower than that of LGS electro-optic crystal, System power consumption, with the potential as a 3D scanning imaging lidar emission source.
