WOHA designed the 66-storey The Met multi-purpose mansion located at Shatin South Road in Bangkok. WOHA is always looking for ways to live better in densely populated tropical cities. Similarly, the goal of building TheMet is also based on this as a starting point - “to create a better cosmopolitan lifestyle.” With this in mind, WOHA’s designers have designed a building program that is better suited to densely populated low-tropic tropical cities. This skyscraper in Bangkok, Thailand, won WOHA the Best Housing Development Program of the World Architecture Festival this year and the 2009 Design Week of Singapore Annual Design Awards.
