A brave, industrious and wise Chinese has created brilliant ancient Chinese culture and produced excellent ancient scientists. Astrophysicists abroad have much earlier studies on precession, aging, solar eclipse, than European astronomers. During the Warring States Period of 403- 221 BC, our people discovered the magnetism of things. In the fifth century, the mathematicians in our country set the value of π = 355/113, accurate to seven digits. The tenth century, our country has made gunpowder. Song Dynasty (XIII-XIII century) made the world’s first rocket to use jet stream to obtain reaction force. In the third century, Doctor Hua Tuo conducted some complicated major surgeries using anesthesia. The list of numerous examples shows that the ancient Chinese people had a brilliant contribution to the world’s science and culture.
