对185个访谈个案及60个网络贴吧材料的梳理分析表明,继母群体在当代呈现类型多样化、认同多元化、形象去污名化的特点。她们大多源于家庭解体后的婚姻重组,分为“传统续弦”、“正常二次婚配”和“第三者上位”三种类型。虽然存在认同畏惧、认同放弃、认同拒绝的问题,但认同融入已占据主流,多数继母能以社会妈妈的身份与继子女保持比较和谐友爱的关系。在当代社会,刻板印象在继母身份建构的过程中依旧起着重要作用,但大众也逐渐从先入为主地拒斥继母转变为关注其个体差异和立体性的社会身份,呈现去污名化趋势。这一趋势是社会、家庭和个人三个层面的因素合力推动的结果,与继母群体的发展壮大、女性意识的觉醒、婚姻家庭等社会观念的变迁、公众认知的日益理性及立体化等因素紧密相连,是不同群体之间良性互动的结果。不过,这一进程仍因生物与文化因素及历史污名化形象的羁绊而发展缓慢。
The analysis of 185 interview cases and 60 online bar stickers shows that the stepmother groups present diversified types, diversified identities and decontamination features in the contemporary era. However, the process has still been sluggish owing to the fetters of biological and cultural factors as well as the image of historical stigmatization.
