电解氢的净化普遍采用催化剂,吸附剂或吸气剂将粗氢中水份、氧等杂质除掉的化学吸附法,这种方法设备庞大,操作不便,净化效果差,其氢的纯度最多到露点-40℃左右,含水量为120PPM,含氧量为5~8PPM,一氧化碳,二氧化碳及氮等气体也不能完全除掉,这样严重地影响氢气使用效果。而且使用中的催化剂、吸附剂均需活化、再生等,这就更显得此法不便。用钯合金膜物理扩散法制备的超高纯度氢获得应用成功后受到人们的重视。用此法可获得氢的纯度为99.99999%以上,氧和氮小于1PPM,露点为-70~-80℃。同时还具有设备简单、操作方便等优点。
