帕慕克在《别样的色彩》中谈及一百多位世界文坛的作家和学者,选入该书的评论涉及法国、俄国、美国和拉美文学。这些现象引发我们展开他与欧美文学关系以及他对东西方关系理解的探索。我们发现他在阅读、学习和吸收欧美文学大家之时往往能以土耳其本土作家的身份和地位为出发点、以“西方中心”为参照点,理性地做到效仿和割裂。而当他进行小说创作、陷入情感投入之时,他笔下的东西方关系又如同《白色城堡》一样变得矛盾、晦涩和模糊。然而,无论是在小说创作实践还是理论方面,帕慕克已然将地域和意识形态领域的东、西方中心进行了解构,凭借更加高远的理解,他始终坚守在自己的想象世界,营造着他的隐秘中心。
Pamuk spoke to writers and scholars in more than one hundred world literary worlds in “Different Colors,” and comments on the book included French, Russian, American and Latin American literature. These phenomena lead us to explore his relationship with European and American literature and his understanding of the relationship between East and West. We find that when he read, studied and absorbed European and American literature, he often took the position and status of Turkish native writers as a starting point and his “Western Center” as the reference point, rationally to follow suit and split. When he was involved in writing novels and was emotionally involved, his East-West relations became contradictory, obscure and vague as the “White Castle.” However, no matter in practice or theory of novels, Pamuk already deconstructed the east and west centers in the areas of geography and ideology. With a more lofty understanding, he persevered in his imaginary world and created his Crypt center.
