木结构中轴心受压构件的纵向弯曲系数φ值,原规范系根据没有木节的构件试验而制定的。而且假定木材顺纹受压弹性模量与其顺纹受压强度的比值,对于不同树种和不同含水率的木材均为定值。鉴于工程实践中大量应用的木材均为有木节的,而且在新规范中对木节限值有所改变,故于此次修订规范时,以云南松和冷杉有木节的构件进行了试验,为制定规范提供参考数据。
