菊城无籽1号是开封市农林科学研究所育成的中晚熟、高产稳产、优质、抗病、耐贮运无籽西瓜新品种。全生育期约100天,果实发育期35天左右;单瓜重7kg,产量3500～4500kg/667m2;中心可溶性固形物含量11.4%,边部8.9%;果实墨绿皮,高圆形,红瓤,无籽性好,耐贮运。抗枯萎病、病毒病和炭疽病。2001年5月通过河南省农作物品种审定委员会审定。
