肾脏中合成红细胞生成素(EPO)的细胞称为肾脏促红细胞生成素产生细胞(REPs),EPO生成不足会引起肾性贫血和慢性疾病相关性贫血。REPs可转分化成致瘢痕的肌成纤维细胞(MF),造成肾脏纤维化,在慢性肾脏病(CKD)患者中,REPs转分化成肌成纤维细胞(MF-REPs)后产生EPO能力下降。近年来关于肾脏REPs的研究取得较大进展,对REPs的研究将有望成为治疗肾性贫血和肾间质纤维化的新靶点。
Cells in the kidney that synthesize erythropoietin (EPO) are called renal erythropoietin-producing cells (REPs). Insufficient EPO production can cause anemia of anemia and chronic disease-related anemia. REPs can transdifferentiate into scarring myofibroblasts (MF) resulting in renal fibrosis. In chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients, the ability of REPs to transdifferentiate into myofibroblasts (MF-REPs) decreases EPO production. In recent years, great progress has been made in the study of renal REPs, and the study on REPs will be a new target for the treatment of renal anemia and renal interstitial fibrosis.
