A mathematic model of imaging Kelvin track (ship track) of coherent synthetic aperture radar (INSAR) is described. The coherent SAR aperture imaging of Kelvin track under certain conditions is simulated by computer. The model takes the velocity field produced by the moving ship on the sea surface as an input and provides a theoretical analysis basis for studying the imaging mechanism of ship track in the coherent SAR image
