Grease-containing foods, residual pesticide extraction and purification is a problem. The presence of fat in the extract interferes with gas chromatographic determination and requires an additional purification step, thus affecting the recovery rate and extending the analysis time. The author once extracted with alumina, remove the fat to be successful. Purified Florisil extracts are suitable for gas chromatographic analysis.
