与传统的教学法注重语言知识体系学习的观点不同,交际教学法的教学观认为掌握一门语言就是掌握一种“交际能力”。在大学英语这门公共课课程中,为有效提高学生的交际能力,课堂教学应从传统教学法下的以教师为中心转变为以学生为中心,因此,教师的课堂角色也就发生了变化,由知识的传播者,灌输者,转为学生主动学习的帮助者、提示者、参与者和评估者。
Different from the traditional pedagogical method that focuses on the learning of the language knowledge system, the teaching concept of communicative pedagogy regards grasping a language as mastering a “communicative competence”. In this common course of college English, in order to effectively improve students ’communicative competence, classroom teaching should shift from teacher-centered to student-centered under the traditional pedagogy. As a result, teachers’ classroom roles have also changed from Communicators of knowledge, inculcators, helpers who switch to active student learning, cues, participants, and evaluators.
