从复杂性的角度说,无论一事物其根源如何,其演化却必然显现独立性、多样性和复杂性,而这种独立性、多样性和复杂性既不能从其根源上获得单一的原则性理解,也不能在其呈现的多样性中求得某种“观念”的和“统摄”的同一性原则。这是马克思在其《博士论文》第二部分第三章已经提到的。但曾几何时,毛泽东思想被神圣化为这种“观念”的和“统摄”的同一性原则,不仅在学术界(特别是科学界)如此,甚至在日常生活中也是如此。对此,邓小平曾是坚决反对的,甚至毛泽东本人也不同意,他本人也不认为他写的那些东西有“有那样大的神通”。所谓坚持马克思主义也好,坚持毛泽东思想也罢,最终还是要回到独立性、多样性和复杂性世界本身寻求各自的理解,这才是真正的思想解放之路。

If we persist in Mao Zedong Thought, we should eventually return to the world of independence, diversity and complexity seeking their own understanding. This is the real path of ideological liberation.
