北海港地处广西南陲,南海北部湾畔,是广西对外开放的重要港口。 至1995年底,北海港港区陆域面积15.71平方公里;有码头泊位11个,码头总延长为1218.5米,其中万吨级以上泊位6个,最大靠泊能力3.5万吨级;库场面积8.2万平方米;装卸机械52台（套）。 1995年北海港完成货物吞吐量201万吨,其中港务局完成186.9万吨;外贸吞吐量108.8万吨;集装箱6035个TEU;旅客发送量20.2万人次。前五位大宗货物所占比重为:石油、天然气及制品占19.11％,轻工医药产品18.51％,非金属矿石16.52％,化学肥料及农药8.6％,粮食7.2％。 八五期间北海港主要建设项目为百步岭港区二期工程,包括一个2万吨级和一个3.5万吨级泊位,已简易投产。 北海港务局现任局长:岳之巍,党委书记:何大虎,党委副书记:苏侃辉,副局长:许炳忠、覃新光、李爱雄、刘兴家。 北海港务局地址:北海市海角路75号 电话:（0779）334011 333481 传真:（0779）336387 邮编:536000
Beihai Harbor is located in Guangxi Nanxun, Beibu Gulf of South China Sea, Guangxi is an important port opening up. By the end of 1995, Beihai Harbor Area land area of 15.71 square kilometers; there are 11 berths, terminal total extension of 1218.5 meters, of which 6 berths above the million-ton, the maximum berthing capacity 35,000 tons; storage area 8.2 Million square meters; handling machinery 52 (sets). In 1995, Beihai Port completed the cargo throughput of 2.01 million tons, of which, the port authority completed 1.86 million tons; the foreign trade throughput was 1.088 million tons; the container was 6035 TEUs; and the passenger volume was 202,000. The proportions of the top five bulk goods are as follows: 19.11% for oil, natural gas and products, 18.51% for light industrial and pharmaceutical products, 16.52% for non-metallic ores, 8.6% for chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and 7.2% for food. The main construction project of Beihai Port during the Eighth Five-Year Plan period is Phase II of Baibuiling Port, which includes a 20,000 tonnage and a 35,000 tonnage berth which have been put into operation easily.
