Based on the available literature, this article highlights the current understanding and identifies unresolved issues regarding methylmercury exposure, health effects, hazard assessment and concludes with consensus. Methylmercury, a potent toxin, is put at risk by the accumulation and enrichment of organisms in the food chain of water, by those who eat predatory or predatory fish in all socio-economic strata of the world. The developmental hazards of methylmercury to nerves have become the basis for developing risk assessment and public health policies. Despite the exposure of newly indicted organisms, the factors that affect methylmercury absorption and toxicity, toxicokinetics, adult neurology and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular effects, the nutritional gains and harms from large numbers of marine and freshwater fish and fish-eating fish , There are many research faults in all aspects of knowledge and the research team believes that to protect human health, every effort must be made to reduce and eliminate the sources of exposure.
