全民阅读对文化传承、社会教育、国民素质提升等具有积极作用。自2006年以来,我国多部委也在积极推动全民阅读,形成了公共图书馆与高校图书馆互为犄角的阅读局面,但仍存在提升发展的空间。文章以美国代表性的公共图书馆全民阅读活动为研究对象,从阅读主题、服务对象、活动设计、合作机制等角度,重点分析了美国国会图书馆、波士顿公共图书馆、纽约公共图书馆、西雅图公共图书馆、芝加哥公共图书馆开展的阅读活动,以为我国的全民阅读建设提供有益的经验。
The reading of the whole nation has a positive effect on cultural inheritance, social education and improvement of the quality of the people. Since 2006, many ministries in our country have been actively promoting reading for all, forming a reading situation in which public libraries and university libraries are mutually exclusive, but there is still room for improvement and development. The article takes the nationwide reading activity of the representative public libraries in the United States as the research object. From the perspectives of reading topics, service objects, activities design and cooperation mechanisms, the article analyzes the American Library of Congress, Boston Public Library, New York Public Library, Seattle Public libraries, Chicago public libraries to carry out reading activities in order to provide our people in reading construction to provide useful experience.
