It is significant to analyze the fracture mechanics of large spindles because of the scrapped or cracked spindles of large domestic elevators. It is of great significance that it can provide the basis for the development of the standard of inspection and scrapped. Based on the finite element method, a large-scale structural analysis program is used to calculate the main shaft of a 2.5 m mine hoist and provide reliable stress data.
