In order to explore the relationship between trace elements in human hair and seizures, the content of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc in the hair of 357 patients with epileptic seizures was collected and compared with those selected from living or living in the same area, Sex, age, the corresponding healthy normal 540 cases for comparison. Results: Compared with the control group, the content of calcium, magnesium and zinc in the patient group was lower than that in the control group (P <0.01), while the content of copper in the patient group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P <0.05) ; While the iron content of patients was higher than the control group, but no statistical significance. Speculated that seizures may be related to changes in the content of trace elements in the body, it may be from the molecular structure level to study the mechanism of epilepsy provide a reference.
