大蜜丸蜡壳封固法已沿用多年,迄今仍为国内外颇受欢迎的包装方法。比较理想的蜡壳配方,应该是容易切制,色泽光亮鲜艳,炎热天不会软化变形,冬天不易脆裂。为了探索比较理想的蜡壳配方,我们对蜂蜡、食品用石蜡、高压聚乙烯、白凡士林、提纯地蜡等五种原料,根据我厂经验,用正交试验法进行优选。试验结果,较佳的配方为:蜂蜡:食品用石蜡=40%:60%,另加高压聚乙烯2%,药用白凡士林3%,地蜡可以不加。
