In “The Theory of Capital,” Marx elaborates on the principle of compensation for fixed capital in Part II in simple reproduction: “This fixed component of the constant capital of Part II, which is converted into money at its own full value, The fixed component, renewed in kind (Part 1), shall be equal to the annual loss of another fixed component of the constant capital of Part II, which is equal to the performance of the function in old material form, and its loss The loss of value transferred to the commodity in which it is produced, the annual loss of that fixed part, which is to be compensated first by money, and thus such a balance seems to be the law of constant reproduction. ” In other words, only IIc (1) = IIc (2), simple reproduction can be successfully achieved.
