City subway usually DC traction power supply. Since the rails are not completely insulated from the ground, a portion of the traction current flows from the rail to the ground and forms a stray current. It has caused or accelerated the electrolytic corrosion of metal structures near transport systems, which has been a major concern of electrified railway systems. This paper studies the distribution of stray current, determines the necessary parameters to monitor the stray current corrosion status and the measurement system of the monitoring system. Based on this, we design a data collector and a data adapter using a single chip microcomputer and customize the communication protocol. The data collected by the device will be uploaded to the upper monitoring device and host computer of the system to provide the necessary reference for starting the drainage facilities and store them in the database for inquiry. The test results show that the system meets the design specifications and can be used for subway stray current monitoring.
