Constructivism pays more attention to the status and role of international law than the rationalist theory of international relations. It has created more space for the development of the theory and practice of international law and has provided a new path for the study of international jurisprudence. The international law in the post-Cold-War era still has the character of “co-existence” and “cooperation”, but its main feature is its development toward “mutual progress.” The co-existence of international law has the foundation and safeguard for safeguarding world peace, achieving the common prosperity of mankind and building a harmonious international rule of law society.
