长期以来,我国制造电动机的风扇都是采用铝材的。铝材制造电机风扇是很不经济的,同时也增加了电机的自重量。因此,我们总想选用一种新型的材料来代替铝材制造电机风扇。后来我们从外文资料中发现意大利SDKH132吊车电机和东德VEM床用立式电机H180均采用塑料(聚丙烯)风扇,我们立即进行了试验,但聚丙烯强度不太好,在大连第七塑料厂的协助下,经过反复试验,最后选用了增强的尼龙6塑料。用增强后的尼龙6塑料制成的风扇,完全满足起重、冶金电机的技术要求,从而以塑料代替铝制风扇的试验得到了成功,并已在超重、冶金用电机上大批使用。据计算,应用这一新材料,每年可节省上万公斤的铝和铸铁,节省了大量人力、电力、降低了设备磨损、减轻了电机总重量、延长了电机的使用寿命,收到了较好的效果。通过几年来的大批投产使用,没有出现过任何问题,用户反映很好。

It has been calculated that the application of this new material saves tens of thousands of kilograms of aluminum and cast iron each year, saving a lot of manpower and electricity, reducing equipment wear, reducing the total weight of the motor, extending the service life of the motor, and receiving better effect. Through years of mass production and use, there have been no problems, users reflect well.
