营造混交林是提高橡树林生产力和稳定性的重要措施。科学现已证明,混交林比纯林稳定得多,生产力高得多;混交林能充分利用太阳能,提高单位面积生物量。此外,混交林能为森林后代创造更有利的条件。 混交林的生产力和稳定性,不仅取决于正确选择森林植物条件和采用合理的农业技术,往往亦决定于乔木树种的适当组合及其相互作用。M.E.指出,培育混交林,有许多不成功,就是由于未考虑到森林树种之间的全部相互关系。
Creating mixed forest is an important measure to improve the productivity and stability of oak forest. Science has now proved that mixed forests are much more stable and purer than pure forests, and mixed forests make full use of solar energy and increase biomass per unit area. In addition, mixed forests create more favorable conditions for forest generations. The productivity and stability of mixed forests depend not only on the correct choice of forest plant conditions and the use of sound agricultural techniques, but also on the proper combination of tree species and their interactions. M.E. pointed out that many unsuccessful cultivation of mixed forests was due to failure to take into account the full interrelationships among forest species.
