禅修的好处是肯定的,不论对名人还是普通人来说。科学家将禅修视为一种心智训练(mental training)近几年来,名人皈依佛教或者隐居修行的新闻很多。在名利场中,名人头顶着耀眼的光环,更希望这光环越亮越好,最好永远不要熄灭。而为了这光环的可持续发展,他们又必须让自己的身体与思维处于满负荷运转状态。他们难得有空闲和心思,去考虑更多生命本质的问题。从这个意义上说,能去禅修的名人是难能可贵的,即使只是短暂的过程。那么,他们能从禅修或者其他的修行方式中得到什么启示?又能给我们什么启示?
The benefits of meditation are positive, both for celebrities and ordinary people.
