泰州市地处江苏中部,长江中下游,是一个传统农业大市。现下辖靖江、泰兴、姜堰、兴化四个县级市和海陵、高港二区,总面积5793平方公里,总人口约500万。以生产稻、麦、棉、油、旱杂粮和畜禽、水产品等大宗农副产品为主,尤以优质稻米、油料、蔬菜、生猪及淡水渔业著称。泰州市绿色食品工作起步较早,上世纪八十年代就开始致力于生态农业技术研究与推广应用,到目前为止,全市已有95个绿色食品通过认证,取得了令人瞩目的成绩。为此,本刊记者就当前形势下,如何更好地推进绿色食品发展,采访了泰州市绿色食品办公室主任范正辉.
Taizhou City is located in central Jiangsu, the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and is a traditional agricultural city. It now governs four county-level cities of Jingjiang, Taixing, Jiangyan and Xinghua, and Hailing and Gaogang Districts. It has a total area of 5,793 square kilometers and a total population of about 5 million. It mainly produces large-scale agricultural and sideline products such as rice, wheat, cotton, oil, dry grains, livestock and poultry, and aquatic products, and is especially known for high quality rice, oil, vegetables, live pigs and freshwater fisheries. Taizhou’s green food work started earlier. In the 1980’s, it began to devote itself to the research and application of ecological agriculture technology. So far, the city’s 95 green food products have passed certification and have achieved remarkable results. To this end, our reporter interviewed Fan Zhenghui, director of the Taizhou Green Food Office, on how to better promote the development of green food under the current situation.
