铁一石墨多孔性含油轴承,是近年来机械制造工业中的一种新制品,在电机制造及纺织机中已获得应用。这种含油轴承,经过一次充油后,不需要经常加油润滑,且具有良好的抗摩性。目前它主要是用粉末冶金法制成的。将轧钢及锻造车间中轧锻钢件后所取得的铁鳞(氧化铁皮)用氢气、水煤气或固体碳还原成纯铁粉,再混和石墨加压烧结充油后即可制成铁一石墨粉末含油轴承。但粉末冶金法只能在小型另件大量生产时适用,而且纯铁粉的制造以及加压模的加工制造,费用成本颇高,因此,限制了这种轴承的应用范围。
