Recently, the Beijing Insurance Regulatory Commission transmitted the CIRC’s “Measures for the Administration of Sales of Personal Hazards” (Draft for Comment), raising the threshold for life insurance practitioners. Many insurance companies questioned the operability of the new approach. The new approach stipulates that undergraduate degree or above in general insurance, finance, economic management, law, investment or finance should become one of the conditions required by life insurance sales staff. If college graduates are required to engage in more than two years of life-long business or more than three years of experience in other financial operations. At present, Chinese-funded life insurance sales staff did not meet the requirements of the draft so high, the requirements of academic qualifications are generally college or above and there is no strict rules. Therefore, according to the requirements of this measure, many salespersons in a Chinese-funded insurance company may be laid off due to non-compliance.
