Due to the advancement of industry and the improvement of processing accuracy, the traditional mechanical measuring tools have the disadvantages of low accuracy, low functionality, and low efficiency, and have long required reforms; thus, products such as micrometers with gauges and micrometers with mechanical counters have emerged. However, these improvements are purely mechanical and have certain limitations in terms of performance and accuracy. With the rapid development of electronic technology, around 1978, digital display electronic height gauges, electronic calipers, electronic micrometers and electronic dial gauges and other electronic measuring devices appeared in foreign cities. The emergence of these electronic scales has enabled the adoption of more than half a century of universal measuring tools to enter a new stage of development. In a short period of several years, according to the incomplete statistics of available data, there are many foreign countries that produce electronic calipers.
