陕南某地的钛磁铁矿床,是一个较为特殊的矿床类型,现将其特征简述如下,以供参考。 (一)矿床的基本特征该矿床产于一种含钛偏碱的辉绿岩体中,岩体常呈岩墙、岩床、岩鞍、岩饼等形态产出,岩体严格受中寒武世地层的褶皱、层理、断裂等控制,岩体的产状和上述地层的产状基本一致,均作310°-320°方向展布,其倾向、倾角因所在部位的不同,则各处不尽一致。但主要倾向南西,倾角50-60°。矿体严格受岩体的控制。因此矿体的形态产状与岩体完全吻合。矿体的规模,一般厚几米至十几米,长几十至几百米不等,与岩体的规模成正比关系。
