越豆2号(原名绍品8)是绍兴市农科所1981年春,以绍兴青珠豆作母本、启东优系8号作父本杂交选育而成。该品种在田间前期生长势旺盛,后期抗病耐湿性较强,植株老健,熟相好,无严重早衰现象。经1984年冬起连续两年进行小区鉴定,亩产分别达133.5kg 和159.0kg,比对照品种上虞田鸡青蚕豆增产极显著。1985年正式定型,1987年冬进行大区测产,平均亩产141.5kg,比对照上虞田鸡青蚕豆增产34.0%,占参试品种第一位。1989～1990年和1990～1991年连续两年参加由浙江省种子
