Objective: To investigate the curative effect of allogeneic hemiarthroplasty in the treatment of lower extremity joint bone tumors. Methods: Twenty-three patients with lower extremity involved in the treatment of arthroplasty were treated with X-ray, CT or MRI to measure the length and range of the tumor. The matched allogeneic joints and fixed materials were selected for resection of the articular bone and the allogeneic half-joint Transplanted bone defect repair, postoperative X-ray assessment of bone healing, and evaluate the functional recovery. Results: Six months to nine months after operation, the X-ray showed the disappearance of the junction between the graft and the normal bone or the gap was blurred and enough callus was formed. Internal fixation material, about 14 months after functional activity gradually returned to normal. CONCLUSION: Allograft hemiarthroplasty is a feasible and effective method for the treatment of bone defect after resection of the lower extremity articular bone.
