光纤陀螺仪中的光纤环需要采用温度稳定性高的保偏光纤(PMF)。除了PMF预制棒的结构设计外,光纤内涂覆材料的性能对PMF温度稳定性也有重要的影响。讨论了内涂覆材料的参数、涂覆层的固化度对PMF温度稳定性的影响,并建议采用内涂覆层固化度控制的方法来获得温度稳定性良好的PMF。
Fiber optic rings in fiber optic gyros require temperature-stabilized PMF. In addition to the structural design of the PMF preform, the properties of the in-fiber coating material also have an important effect on the PMF temperature stability. The parameters of the inner coating material and the degree of curing of the coating on the temperature stability of the PMF are discussed. It is also suggested that the PMF with good temperature stability should be obtained by controlling the degree of inner coating curing.
