在过去的15年中,杂交椰子PB121已大规模发展。现已设立广泛的试验网点,以便在各种土壤和气候条件下对该杂种进行矿质养分和施肥的研究。所有的试验结果均表明,椰子树常患缺氯症。在离海岸线20~25公里以外的地区,缺氯症会使椰子歉收。钾和氯元素能增加单株产量和单果椰干产量。尤其是氯元素能使单果椰干产量提高40%。钾和氯混施往往能大幅度提高椰子产量。
Over the past 15 years, hybrid coconut PB121 has been large-scale development. A wide range of pilot sites have been established to study the mineral nutrient and fertilization of the hybrid under various soil and climatic conditions. All the test results show that coconut trees often suffer from chlorine deficiency. In areas outside the coastline of 20-25 km, chlorine deficiency can cause coconut failure. Potassium and chlorine can increase the yield per plant and the production of copra. In particular, chlorine can increase the yield of single coconut palm by 40%. Potassium and chlorine mixed often can greatly improve the coconut production.
